Price list - Purple Dive professional training

We understand that price plays a role in your decision when you pick a PADI Divemaster or Instructor course! Here we have tried to detail all prices clearly, so you know what to expect.

PADI Divemaster internship pricing

PADI Divemaster Core - 4 weeks : 18,500,000 IDR

PADI Divemaster Eco - 5 weeks : 23,000,000 IDR

PADI Divemaster Pro - 5 weeks : 35,000,000 IDR

Not included:

- PADI Divemaster materials (slates and Elearning): 4,500,000 IDR
- PADI Membership fees (pay directly to PADI after completion): 260 AUS$

- Rental equipment if needed: 2,000,000 IDR per month

We will require that you have as a minimum: mask, snorkel, SMB and reel, dive computer. We can help you purchase this at a discounted price if you need. We also require that you have dive insurance during your training. We can help you purchase this if necessary.

Lunch is included every training day. We do not offer accommodation, but we can recommend a few places and help you find a place that works with your budget.

We offer optional training if you need to complete prerequisite courses like Rescue or First Aid, contact us for details of what you would need. You can extend your Divemaster internship for up to 2 weeks, cost is 5,000,000 IDR per week.

All in all, for the Divemaster Core program, expect to spend around 35,000,000 IDR for the full month (around 2000 USD), including course, PADI fees and materials, housing, food and drinks. For a more detailed budget, download our Divemaster Information PDF.

PADI Instructor (IDC) course pricing

PADI IDC Core - 18 days : 20,500,000 IDR

PADI IDC Pro - 26 days : 26,500,000 IDR

Not included:

- PADI IDC materials (IDC slates and Elearning, EFR Instructor Elearning, RDP, eRDPML): 15,000,000 IDR
- PADI Membership fees (pay directly to PADI after completion): 559 AUS

- PADI Instructor Examination fees: 1120 AUS

We will require that you have as a minimum: mask, snorkel, SMB and reel, dive computer. We can help you purchase this at a discounted price if you need. If you need equipment rental, this will be at an extra cost.

We also require that you have dive insurance during your training. We can help you purchase this if necessary.

PADI Instructor Staff course pricing

IDC Staff course fee: 10,000,000 IDR

IDC Staff PADI materials: 7,000,000 IDR

This includes staffing a full IDC course with us. Lunch is included on all training days.

This does not include the PADI fee to process your IDC Staff rating.

For 2024 the fee is 214 AUS, to be paid directly to PADI and subject to change.

PADI MSDT pricing

PADI MSDT Course: 9,500,000 IDR

This includes all your training dives for 5 specialties of your choice (to select across what we teach), lunch on training day and all required PADI materials.

PADI fees are NOT included:

- 131 AUD per specialty
- 178 AUD for MSDT application

In order to qualify for MSDT rating, you need to be able to teach 5 PADI Specialties and have 25 student certifications. We provide specialty training, but you might have to wait until you have done the certifications to apply for MSDT rating to PADI.

Terms and Conditions

Insurance
Purple Dive has liability insurance and insurance for our dive staff. However, we do not carry individual insurance for divers, meaning that if a dive accident would occur during your diving activities, our insurance would not cover you.

For all professional training programs, you are required to have dive insurance. You can subscribe directly with DAN through our partnership, that can cover you up to a month. They also offer yearly insurance that you can find on their website.

We also recommend having travel insurance, that covers your booking in the event you may have to change your plans or if anything unforeseen may arise.

Deposit policy and cancellations
We require a deposit for all bookings. The deposit for all professional training is as follow:

- 100% of your PADI materials (digital materials will be issued to you right after payment)

- 50% of the course fee

Once paid, your deposit cannot be refunded. However should any unplanned event occur, you can reschedule your course within a year, depending on availability.

All prices are subject to changes.

Payments

We accept payments in cash in IDR, EUR and USD
We also accept card payment, either at the dive center or online via card link, and a variety of bank transfer options in several currencies.

Diver's safety and professional conduct

We take your safety VERY seriously. We expect all our divers to sign and abide by the PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices. We reserve the right to exclude you from our diving activities if we feel your behavior could be a danger to yourself, our staff or other divers. In this case, we will do our best to refund part of your diving activities depending on your specific case.
As a PADI professional, we also expect a professional attitude around our staff, our guests and the dive center in general. You will be required to sign a learning agreement at the beginning of your training.
